Movement and Games Teacher
Our grade school has an opening for a part-time Movement Teacher for the remainder of the 2011-12 school year to teach games and developmental movements specific to the Waldorf curriculum. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for the importance of movement in education, have teaching experience in the field, and have begun or completed a training program in Spacial Dynamics and/or Waldorf Education.
The position is paid per class based on experience. There are 8 classes per week.

Open Positions for the 2012-13 School Year
Class Teacher for First Grade
In the Waldorf school, the class teacher meets his/her class in Grade One and journeys with them for several years, ideally through Grade Eight. The ideal candidate will have Waldorf teacher training and prior teaching experience, though we will consider candidates currently engaged in Waldorf training. This teacher must be skilled and enthusiastic about working both with children and their parents, and about working collegially as part of an active, committed faculty. Excellent communication skills, creativity, and flexibility are essential.
